First Mate/Chef Sue of M/Y Andrea V sent us these photos of a boat that burned to the waterline about 1.5 miles due east of Cape Florida. The boat is reported to be a 57-foot Carver. It caught fire and within 10 to 12 minutes had burned almost to the waterline. The two people who were on the boat were rescued by a nearby fishing vessel. No one was injured.
